Scholarship Schemes & Financial Aid

Girls Empowerment

Lila Poonawalla Scholarships for Girls

Scholarships offered by the Lila Poonawalla Foundation to empower deserving female students pursuing careers in technology and digital media sciences.

  • Applicable Programs: B.Sc. Media Graphics & Animation or M.A. in Animation.
  • Age Limit: Up to 25 years.
  • Income Limit: Family total annual income must not exceed ₹2,00,000.
  • Academic Cut-off: Minimum 60% marks in 10th and 12th standards.
  • Application Period: Apply annually between 15th July – 31st August.
Merit & Need Based

Gyanjyoti Scholarship Scheme

Supported by a corpus fund of ₹5,00,000 (Five Lakh) established to provide substantial tuition assistance to highly academic candidates from low-income families.

  • Eligibility: Indian national residents pursuing H.Sc., UG, or PG degrees.
  • Income Cut-off: Parents' total income must not exceed ₹3,00,000 per annum.
  • Academic Cut-off: Minimum score of 75% throughout academics.
  • How to Apply: Submit a hand-written application (typed applications are rejected) on plain A4 paper, recommendation from Headmaster/Principal, parents' salary/income certificate, and mark sheets of the last 5 years showing at least 75%.
  • Deadline: Every year before 30th June.
Typed applications are strictly rejected. Application must be hand-written on plain A4 paper.
MCE Society Special

Special Scheme for BPL Students of MCE

A dedicated welfare initiative reserving special seats in the university degree program at a highly subsidized nominal fee structure.

  • Reserved Seats: 20 special seats in the B.Sc. Media Graphics & Animation program.
  • Nominal Fee: Subsidized fee of ₹80,000 per year.
  • Eligibility: Regular students of MCE Society who completed their 10+2 from MCE Society Junior Colleges.
  • How to Apply: Contact the Dean's Office (Monday to Wednesday, 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM) with academic documents. Final selection is handled by MCE Society Management.
Placement-backed Training

P.A. Inamdar Talent Promotion Scheme

A pioneering scholarship scheme aimed at supporting needy but deserving senior college students in Pune (across Arts, Commerce, and Science streams). The scheme provides 6-month intensive training in value-added IT and ICT courses with guaranteed studio placements.

VFx
2D Animation
Graphic Design & UI/UX

Selection Process: Admission is strictly based on a written test and a personal interview to evaluate academic intent.
